  For those who love good flamenco. Quality service. In Jerez, birthplace of flamenco, a lot is being done to to preserve this art. At El Tablao del Bereber they are striving to transmit, promote and maintain Andalusian culture.  
 
El Tablao del Bereber is located in the San Mateo area, in calle Cabezas, one of the streets which has best preserved the medieval enchantment of the city. This area is also home to a great deal of small palaces and important homes from the times of Moorish occupation. Later it was a site where a large part of the nobility lived during the 15th and 16th centuries, and this is still reflected in the buildings. See location in map (jpg / pdf).
     
  THE BUILDING. It is a blend of the evolution of architecture of the lower Guadalquivir from the Middle Ages to modern times.The oldest part of the Tablao dates back to the late 15th or early 16th century; for example, the building’s original facade – strong, noble and sober, with all of the characteristics of the late Middle Ages and the ancient, regional style of Islamic influence. The rest of the building is principally from the 16th and 18th centuries.

  The show at Tablao del Bereber is performed by prestigious dancers, singers and guitarists. You will witness the essence of this art and the personal touch of a city with an enormous Gypsy influence, the birthplace of Flamenco – Jerez de la Frontera. A very personal performance will take the world of flamenco to the public. At the same time, the dancers perform a choreography which reflects their personal interpretation of flamenco, with its bursts of rapture and fury and its whirls of emotional contrast.

  The show is directed by the singer and dancer MANUELA MENDEZ SANCHEZ - La chati - who is, following the death of her aunt La Paquera de Jerez, the main figure in the singing family of los Paqueros.  
  GASTRONOM. The citys restaurateurs will make it possible for you to enjoy the unending variety of Jerezs gastronomy and its world-famous wines. The price includes drinks (beer, wine, soft drinks and water with dinner and free drinks during the show), hors d??oeuvres and dinner. The excellent menu changes each season but we offer an example here. You may check with us regarding the current menu.

  TRANSPORT. You will be provided with transport from your hotel to the Tablao and back to the hotel by means of modern buses, taxis and other vehicles, so that enjoying the Tablao will be effortless. There are established routes but you can consult us about other options and specific details regarding your place of lodging and the pickup times.

  TIME AND PRICES  
  Time of the dinner-show: daily, from 21:00 h. to 23:30 h.  
  You can find offers which appear to be similar, but they do not offer the same quality for the price.  
  Consult special prices for groups. Lunch shows are possible for groups as well.  
  Reservations: At least 24 hours before the show. Check by phone for last-minute reservations.  
  Maximum seating: 100 people.  
     
  The price includes: 70€  
    Transport from the hotel to the show and back.

    Flamenco show.  
 
Children from 14-17 years old are allowed if accompanied by adults.
