  The most beautiful of cities rifeñas Chaouen (or Chefchaouen) is located 115 km to 60 km from Tangier and Tetuan. Its name means in Berber horns and refers to the two mountains between which it is built (Djebel Efchaouen). Beautiful on the mountainside, with its whitewashed houses and the doors and windows painted in shades of blue, reminiscent of the Andalusian mountain villages.
